If so, the new Industry 4.0: Advanced Manufacturing microcredentialed short course is for you! In this hands-on course, you will be led by industry experts in the Advanced Manufacturing workshops at Charles Darwin University.
Throughout the course, you will design, model, print, finish, test and document the project trace for an introductory level project using the LightSPEE3D metal printer and related advanced manufacturing technologies.
Advanced Manufacturing Alliance
The Advanced Manufacturing Alliance (AMA) was founded by Charles Darwin University (CDU) and SPEE3D to progress the research and utilisation of advanced manufacturing technologies with a strategic focus on the Australian invention of SP3D (supersonic 3D deposition).
AMA supports training, research and production by connecting trades, universities, and industry.
AMA works with organisations to complete custom research and development projects to deliver 3D printed metal components.
Class Schedule
The program will be offered over 7 Thursday evening sessions.
Costs
Enrolment costs for this initial offering are being fully subsidised by the Northern Territory Government’s Future Skills pilot program.
Enrolment
This offering of the course is open to people in the workforce who are interested in expanding their skills. It is not open to school students; however it is expected that future offerings will be.
