The LightSPEE3D project takes out the win at the TCT Awards
The TCT Awards were a huge success for SPEE3D!
At the TCT Award show in Birmingham LightSPEE3D was one of five finalists from around the globe in the running for the TCT Hardware Non-Polymer Systems Award.
SPEE3d are thrilled to announce that the LightSPEE3D project was awarded first place with Desktop Metal Production System receiving runners up with the highly commended award.
TCT Awards spokeperson says “With the addition of four new categories, there were an abundance of high-quality entries which made for very stiff competition within each category. The ‘LightSPEE3D’ is extremely deserving and can be held up as a superb example of how far these technologies and their applications have come”
SPEE3D was also in the running for the TCT Rising Star Award and received the highly commended award for the best new thinkers and innovators, with HIETA Technologies Ltd taking out the win.
CEO Byron Kennedy says “What a great achievement. This award provides further evidence that supersonic 3D deposition (SP3D) is a technology that the market has been calling out for – fast, low cost, production grade metal 3D printing.
