Welcoming SPEE3D’s new General Manager of Engineering and Materials
We’re thrilled to announce that Joel Gresham will be joining our executive team as the new General Manager, Engineering and Materials. Joel will lead the evolution of these functions, steering them through our next critical phase of growth.
Joel’s extensive background in uniting technical expertise with strategic business vision will be instrumental in building on our high-performing teams and enhancing our operational excellence.
Joel has over a decade in senior management experience and 19+ years across research and development, manufacturing and industry. A Chartered Professional Engineer, he holds a Master of Philosophy in Engineering, a Bachelor of Systems Engineering (Honours), and a Bachelor of Information Technology from the Australian National University.
Throughout his career, Joel has led business through major transformation initiatives. He also has deep experience in integrating global engineering teams, fostering collaboration and eliminating organisational silos. His expertise in digital transformation, AI strategy, connected products/IoT, and data-driven decision-making aligns perfectly with our future roadmap.
Joel’s leadership has delivered many measurable successes. During his tenure at Davey Water Products, he drove innovation and new product growth. More recently at Waterco, he led a large engineering organization of over 50 people, managing significant development and capex budgets.
His innovative work has resulted in various patents for water management systems, and he has actively contributed to the industry as a member of the Melbourne University Industry Advisory Group and the Australian Standards Committee.
