3D Printing Metal Parts without Heat – Design World
One of the advantages of attending the RAPID + TCT Show is the opportunity to see new technology in action.
One example is Spee3D, an Australian firm that has developed a new way to build metal parts layer by layer. It’s a type of cold fusion, so not only are the parts fully dense, users won’t need to deal with thermal issues or other issues often involved with metal powders. In addition, Spee3D can work with copper powder. Check out the conversation I had with Steven Camilleri, Chief Technology Office, at the show.
